2023 China Construction Machinery Export Trade Report

The global demand for construction machinery remains strong, and China has become a major exporter. In recent years, China's export of construction machinery has increased significantly. From January to December 2023, the total export trade of construction machinery reached 47.033 billion US dollars, bringing 2.46 million quantities of construction machinery to various parts of the world, an increase of 30.2% compared to the previous year. This growth is driven by strong demand from various regions, especially in the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia, and South America. The main export products include crawler excavators, forklifts, loaders, rollers, graders, and dump trucks.
The largest contributor to the export of tracked excavators was 8.12 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 65.8%. This significant growth highlights China's dominant position in the global high-end construction machinery market.
